Rolling Acres Highland Farm — Calf Purchase Process

 

Thank you for your interest in a Highland calf from Rolling Acres Highland Farm! We raise each calf with care, proper nutrition, and thoughtful management to ensure they grow into strong, healthy additions to your farm or homestead.

1. Calf Reservation (At Birth)

    •    When a calf is born, it becomes available for reservation.

    •    A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the calf of your choice.

    •    This deposit holds the calf exclusively for you and is applied toward the total purchase price.

2. Growth & Care Period (Birth to 6 Months)

    •    Calves stay with their dams (mothers) to nurse and grow naturally until weaning.

    •    They receive attentive care, routine monitoring, proper nutrition, and age-appropriate health support.

    •    We send periodic updates with photos and progress reports so you can watch your calf grow.

3. Weaning & Pickup Timeline (Around 6 Months Old)

    •    At approximately 6 months old, calves are fully weaned and ready to transition to their new homes.

    •    The remaining balance is due at this time and must be paid before or at pickup/delivery.

    •    We provide care guidance, transition tips, and feeding recommendations to help your calf settle in smoothly.
